Sudden problem with iMove HD and titles

Good day, all.
After a couple of years of highlight DVDs and video production, all of a sudden the blasted "update" button never seems to activate when I want to put a title over a picture. I've tried importing the picture manually, click and drags, etc. I can type whatever I want into the text box and even preview it, but I can't apply it to the picture.
Any thoughts?

PS: What kind of help forum has a limit on the number of searches a user can do in a certain time frame? That makes no sense at all!
