I was very sad to find that yesterday my iPod will not turn on or anything.
At all.
I tried charging it and then turning it on but to no avail. I tried the menu+select button reset and no work. The display doesn't come on, the click wheel won't click: it's dead.
I have a box coming from Apple as it is still under warranty but I wanted to check and see if anything could be fixed before the box gets here.
Anyone had this same ilness and fixed it? I'll try anything that won't oid the warranty /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Which iPod? What happens when you connect it to the USB cable connected to your Mac? Nothing?

I'm using a PC and my iPod is a 30gb 5g video. When I connect it to the PC absolutely nothing happens. I've tried two different cables and three different computers.
