I wonder how well it handles the new Office 2007 documents? I guess I'll have to use the trial and find out - because that would be the big one for me, my Pages files opening in 2007.
First Look: Pages '08

To Dan and cafemeio:
Thank you both for your suggestions.
I've used MacLinkPlus in the past, but if Neo Office will open these files...I'm assuming I'll be able save them to either Word or Pages '08...then I'll go that route, as it's obviously time I finally switched from WP.
Thanks to all.

There's a free word processor app called AbiWord that can translate WordPerfect (and other) documents:

I don't know if it suits your exact purposes - I've only used it to read WordPerfect text documents that a friend sent to me (I couldn't find any other way). I don't know how it would work as a word processor, but it read the .wpd documents fine; I think you could then save them as .doc (Microsoft Word) or something else.

MY killer feature would be: is there any possibility to make cross references in a document by pages 08 and is it possible to index words? I just downloaded a demo but can't find a solution /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif
