Does the ATV have to sync with an iTunes library or could it get media from a hard drive connected to the Airport Base Station?
Say I have an external 500GB hard drive loaded with media. What's the best way to stream that to the ATV? I know about syncing, but what's the most reliable way to stream?
One more question: What are the possibilities of the USB 2.0 port on the ATV. Can it be used for an external HDD?

I believe I already know the answer to this one. The ATV has to sync to an iTunes library on another computer.
That would be a nice feature to be able to connect an external HDD directly to the ATV and specify the HDD as the local iTunes library source.
