Greetings,
I am a new Mac user (MacBook with intel an the latest version of OS X) trying to navigate this new culture. Several issues have come up, but I have managed to find out what to do about them. A couple of issues re not resolved and I am sure that will be more. I would appreciate some help from you specialists out there:
One issue: how can one use accents in Entourge? For example, given that my keyboard is US English, how can write something in Spanish and tick accents on the vowels when necessary, without having to switch each time to a Spanish keyboard?
For some strange reason and even though Entourage came in a package with Office for Mac, what applies in Word does not function in Entourage (like those accents)
Another issue: how does one attach a picture or pictures from iPhoto into Entourage in order to email it?
Thanks for helping.

To get accents, press and hold the Option key and press the "E" key...then press the vowel key that you want to have the accent. So, if you want an "O" with an accent, then press and hold the Option key while pressing the "E" key, release them, and then press the "O" key.
If you want a tilde, then press and hold the Option key while pressing the "N" key...then press the letter that you want a tilde over (i.e. press the "N" key again to get an "N" with a tilde).
If you want the email a photo feature in iPhoto to work with Entourage, then go into the Preferences under the iPhoto menu and select Entourage in the "Email photos using" setting in the General prefs.
You can also copy a picture from iPhoto and paste it into a message in Entourage...if it is an HTML message. Won't work if you use Plain Text messages.
