IMAC G4 KEYBOARD ISSUE

I just got a 15 inch IMAC G4. I was able to get it to recognize my non apple keyboard and can use it fine, EXCEPT when I turn it on.I have to remove the usb each time I turn it on before it will be usable. It does the same things with the apple keyboards as well. I have tried 2 regualr keyboards and 3 apple keyboards.

Have you tried plugging your keyboard(s) into different USB ports? Make sure you use one on the computer itself.
