No women in the ads eh? My wife seemed interested in the iPhone and you would think they'd have one with a woman using it to market to them. Instead, when watching Desparate Housewives, we get some dude talking about visual voicemail (woohoo!). How about the stay-at-home wife that has to juggle the kids and errands as an Apple iPhone commercial?

The whole idea behind "political correctness" is that gender shouldn't matter. These are the first in most likely a series. These are either good actors or good (in front of the camera) people off the street--both fairly few and far between. The women are most likely on the way.
In the mean time, knowledge and wisdom has been often known to propagate cross-gender without too much trouble, unless, of course, it's blocked by various irrational attitudes.

So where's Ellen Feis checking in at the local rehab with her iPhone?

Anyone else experience the weird flickering on the video presentation? I've never seen this before on any video, whether QuickTime or Flash-based. I suspect this is a Flash-based video (based on the interface), which is strange enough given that Apple usually promotes its own technologies, but the constant flicker to a white frame was really strange. I'm on a G5 2.0DP with a 6Mbps internet connection. The video loaded quickly enough, but each time it's played, it flickers.
