movie/DVD software for G4???

Hi everyone,
I have a G4 and I just bought a camcorder (twin girls are on the way) and I found out that my camcorder doesn't work with imovie '08, because that software is only for the newest Macs. Does anyone know of other software that will work on my computer? I have the newest OS X and really don't want to buy a new computer just to make DVDs.

Nate, the iMovie 08 install didn't trash the iMovie you already
have. The new one just doesn't do G4s. The installer was
nice and skipped that installation.
If you want something fancier than the IMovie 3 that came
with your Mac, go to eBay and search "ilife" to get several
sources for iLife 06. Cheap.
