Sandboxie

Hi All,
I am moving from a Windows environment to OS X on a MacBook. One of the programs I value on the PC is "Sandboxie" (see Sandboxie Homepage ), which enables software etc to be used in a "sandbox" that protects the rest of the machine from problems. For example, if a web browser is run in a sandbox, any malware is contained in it; so deleting the sandbox removes all traces of the problem from the PC completely.
My question is whether anyone is aware of a similar product for Mac OS X? Sandboxie only runs on Windows XP and, I guess, Vista.
