If you are ripping genuine CD's (aka you went out and bought it at a store)
And you have gotten track info from Itunes when you ripped it
just pick a song in that album and right click. then select "get album art)
If not go to Albumart.org and find your album.
then goto itunes, select a song in the album you want, and right click, select get info. then select the album art work tab. then just click and drag the image from you web browser and drag it into this window.

alternative album art site: all music guide. artwork is typically 200 x 200, consistent quality, and you can scroll through multiple versions of album artwork for those albums released multiple times and/or by multiple lables.
and of course there is always amazon for larger artwork (500 x 500), although i've found amazon not to have as complete a collection of of album artwork available, quality is not as consistent, and the large artwork not always available, at least for the artists i'm looking for. particularly rare albums.

I always put album art with each track. I don't have to carry
the iTunes library, and it's particularly useful if you want
to burn a compendium CD of tracks from various albums.
The "mosaic" album art printed for that CD is a treat.
