Seems cool, add another vote for tabbed browsing, but for a beta this is really awesome /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
I can't sign in to hotmail /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Thanks mystery, I forgot about that. It was set to accept cookies only from sites you navigate in...

All I have to say is: Don't blink when you hit the back button.

To start the Google search after typing in your search words just hit Return. Simple and easy.

Try this: Go to www.msn.com.... Log in to my msn. Put in you password, and see if that's works. If it works, you should be able to have the my msn webpage, i.e see the hello " your name" sentence. Now try clicking on the hotmail tab right from in there. If it takes you to your inbox, just bookmark it, and the next time you want to go to hotmail, assuming your already logged in to my msn, it should take you there...

I can log into the Macworld Forums today using Safari (wouldn't work yesterday). This is a great browser! Not having tabs stinks, though. Coming from Mozilla, I used tabbed browsing very often. It'll take a little getting used to.

Hotmail started to work after I rebooted. This thing rocks!! Give it tabs and we have an unequalled winner.

That is pretty cool. Actually, there's a lot of "little" things that make this a really great browser. The Google search function, the SnapBack function, the abity to MARK a site with SnapBack, etc.
However, before it comes "the" browser for the majority, Apple will have to implement features that people want. (Tabs, auto-fill, etc.) I urge everyone to give Apple feedback. We CAN get the browser we want if we let them know what it is that we want. Apple does listen.

I've just got praise for this BETA release. And it broke the single day download record at apple- 300 000. Wow

From my experience flash has always been quite slow on the mac so I guess I'm not surprised that safari exhibits this issue too.

Some Safari alterations...
I've got an updated, color version!

Basically I just renamed the pressed and um "not-pressed" tif files.

Here's the link to remove the brushed:

[edit] WTF I can't post the image...

look in the history menu.
No offence meant, but it seems like people don't do simple things like explore the menu options before they ask how to do stuff. for me, the most fun about getting new apps is digging around and learning the features.
