Since the iPhone has a version of Safari, is it possible to listen to web radio and TV stations using wifi?
Thank you.

Unfortunately, the iPhone's Safari browser doesn't support live audio/video streaming per se, since Quick Time (a format which the iPhone has) is not a true "live" or "real-time" format (since the contents and limits of the ENTIRE QuickTime file must be defined before QuickTime can play; this requires a 'static' finalized file). I guess a good analogy would be like when burning DVDs: in order for the DVD to play on a commercial player, the burning session must be finalized to make it playable.
Bottom line: you cannot listen/watch a media streaming signal, as you'd have to record it to define the contents of the file.
FWIW, I record "live" radio streams on my home computer with Audio Hijack Pro, which offers timed recording functionality, and then automatically exports the file with an AppleScript into iTunes. I can remotely access the newly-recorded file remotely with the iPhone, via EDGE, using a program called Dot.Tunes.
So while not "real-time" per se, it works good enough until the iPhone's OS is updated to include support for a true "streaming" protocol (like FlashPlayer, etc).
