Hello everyone,
I've just bought a new Macbook from a store in America back home to the U.K. The store said it was a display model so they fixed me a pretty good price on it. Anyhow, when I turned it on for the first time I wasn't taken through the installation process, rather the kiosk came up which basically tells you the feautures on the Macbook. I installed a whole load of applications on it only to find everything had been deleted after I shutdown. When I turned it back on the same kiosk comes up with all my applications deleted and the whole system is back to default.
I've tried altering configurations etc to no avail.
Any help around this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Sounds like they have you running in guest mode. I'd suggest the best course of action would be to just wipe the thing with Disk Utility while booted from the installer, and do a clean install.
