I hate the new front page. I used to read Macworld first thing in the morning for the day's news stories, but now they are so tiny and buried in a very crowded layout. The ads are HUGE and the actual content is I believe literally in the smallest font of anything else on the page. It's just a very discouraging appearance. Now I usually surf over to the site and immediately leave because my eye doesn't even get as far as reading the first headline while being bombarded with all the other fluff on the page.
It looks like one of those blogs that only exists to sell Google ads, and the actual content is like a postage stamp surrounded by huge ads. This is something that's been getting worse over the last several layout changes, and now I just can't even bring myself to deal with it anymore. I don't respect any site that presents itself with such little regard for its own content.

I'm finding the new "blue" callout boxes on the left side of the home page very annoying. Not only are they ugly as sin, but with the white text they are harder to read. In addition, they represent these additional boxes that keep pulling your eye away from the story list to the right.
Also, the CSS used in the stories themselves is terrible. Letters run together, sometimes overlapping, because of font usage that hasn't been optimized for the screen. It's awful. I used to make Macworld an important part of my daily routine, but now find that I just don't like reading it anymore since these new changes were made.
