{quote}?For a lot of customers, writing formulas are hard. Quite honestly, I don?t want to write every formula I need,? said Stuart DeSpain, lead program manager for Excel.{quote}
For a lot of lead program managers for Excel, writing with correct grammar are also hard.

The one HUGE deficiency in Word for Mac has been the lack of control over the Track Changes feature that Word 2003 for Windows has. In Word for Windows, one has the ability to turn on "balloons" "only for comments and formatting." Unfortunately in the Mac, it's either on for everything or off for everything. I live and die by the track changes feature for my job so I hope, hope, hope, they've beefed it up in the Mac version to achieve parity with the Windows version. The balloons are great when they can be used only for comments and formatting.
Unfortunately, I have seen ZERO information on this feature either on the Microsoft site or elsewhere. Apparently I'm the only guy using this out there in the Mac universe!

It is a shame that the only reason I would upgrade is to get past the bugs the current version has and for compatibility. It's a shame - it's kind of a forced upgrade - the kind I hate coughing up for.

It appears Office has been delayed. I just got an email yesterday telling me that my shipment of the Special Media edition won't ship until Jan. 28, and offered to let me cancel it if it goes beyond that. Cancel? To get it for $6.99? They can take a year and I'm not canceling! :p

writing with correct grammar is also hard
Anyway - want Office '08 - NOW... really tired of Office '04 - but iWork would probably have some problems after Office '08 becomes popular...
