We're happy to previewing the next step in Client/Server font management at Macworld 2008. As the previous commenter has alluded to, it's taken us a while to get here, but we wanted to do it right, and we're are really happy with the results.

If you get a chance, stop by our Macworld booth this week for a live demonstration. Or, if that's not possible, stay tuned to typeserver.com and blog.extensis.com for info on Universal Type Server.

Oh, and our single user product Suitcase Fusion has been a Universal Binary since it was released. :-)

Will this have any effect on the Suitcase Fusion product up the road, or will it remain primarily in its current form and with its current name?

This is the Client/Server product that will replace Suitcase Server and Font Reserve Server. The single-user product Suitcase Fusion is not affected by Type Server.

Thanks for asking.
