This product was announced at PMA 2007 and I have been waiting for further information ever since. I thought it may have been abandoned. Can you verify this story as I have not seen the photoGPS on other news sources.

Are you certain it will be Mac-compatible? Many GPS loggers don't support download of data on Macs, or provide Mac software to match GPS data and photos.
Of the devices I have looked at, most require the user to add extra software for Mac compatibility, if they can be accessed from the Mac at all.

This company's web site has been updated with no information about the product except two photos. Even their newest press release on the site fails to mention it. What a waste of an opportunity for them--they appear not to even have a newsletter signup.

They were quite clear that it would work on both the Mac and Windows platforms, although the demo they showed was on a PC.

They also knew that it was late, but claimed repeatedly that it would ship this summer.
