I haven't used Director since 8.5 as others have mentioned. The lack of Maya Shockwave 3D epxort bugged me and requests for Director work were all replaced by Flash. This seems like a last ditch effort on Adobe's part.
I personally like AS3 way better than Lingo and I noticed that D11 only supports AS2 Flash content -- what's with this cheese?
And why import QT VR content, just build your own engine. Yes I know, it's more work. :)

Does Director 11 support Flash Scripting, Actionscript?

Is it worth the upgrade from Director 2004 (10)?

How's the playback on non-Intel systems?

I was somewhat disappointed because it is no longer supported on the G5.

Can I write Actionscript routines, or is Javascript better?

How closely does it inegrate with Flash, Authorware, Contribute, Robohelp, Illustrator, etc.?

How about Final Cut Pro or DVD Studio Pro.

I'd be interested in getting it/upgrading if it's any good and it's compatible with other programs and has some application to video/youtubing.

I've tried Flash/Actionscript, and it was damn hard to use.

By comparsion, Director was more user friendly and way more fun.

Appreciate the feedback, thanks.
