Absolutely. I would have thought that the majority of Macs in use are still PowerPC* so it must be worth it for some developers to invest effort in optimizing for the architecture.

* - any figures to prove this? You'd think from the Mac news sites that everyone was using Intel, but that's not really their fault since they have to concentrate on the latest stuff.
