Apple releases Safari 3.1

I'm finding a couple of things not working - one of my favorite java web pages - TextTwist on Yahoo games - suddenly doesn't work with 3.1

I keep having to force-quit Safari 3.1. It freezes when I try to move from to certain sites.

I've noticed a similar issue with my machine. The first time I run any site with Flash required, the browser hang for a few seconds then the Flash loads. It tends to happen most with badly coded advertisements. It may be something as simple as Flash needs to be updated by Adobe for better compatibility. Either way, it does seem to only happen with badly coded sites as I tend to spend a lot of time around Flash work (web designer) and in cases where I'm the one who's made the site or with sites of other designers it doesn't seem to happen.
