where are my dictionaries?

Ciao all. I am running Jaguar and The English version of Office v.X. I have the menus all set to English, but live in Italy and write in Italian often. However, I am unable to spell check in Italian.

In a document set to Italian (I am given that choice of language for the document), when I try to spellcheck, i get this error message: "word is unable to find the grammar file for Italian." Then it says spellcheck is complete although nothing was done.

I checked what dictionary is being used, and i have only CUSTOM. Not even English appears.

Does anyone know where I can find the dictionaries to install? I tried to install them from the Office v.X but can't figure that out either.

Thank you,
dan

On the Office v.X CD, open the Value Pack folder. Run the Value Pack installer.
Expand the "Proofing tools" selection, and check the Italian entry. Install.
