Download problems? I have only used this version of Chimera (.05) no problems downloading files.

Chimera is a great browser, all I wish it would spell check like Omniweb. I really liked Omniwebs look and features, but it just doesn't work with alot of sites. Netscape 7 is really nice except that it uses Window 98 looking form imputs, no Aquathat really bothers me!

With Chimera, Netscape 7 and IE we really do have some great browser choices now. Chimera is my favorite over all.

Cashbo, I've encountered the same problems

. I was downloading something off the Apple site and it just kept crawling slower and slower from 100KB/s until it peaked at 2KB/s. I switch over to my PC, and it streams in at 250KB/s. It drives me nuts!

Also Philbert, aside from the noticeable delay, the godawful spinning ball appears all the time when rendering complex pages. (Java turns my mac browser to molasses).

One thing I love about OS X browsing though -- the nice anti-aliasing makes the Yahoo mail site look just absolutely gorgeous!
