If you are new to Safari, you can read the entire epic we all originally experienced in january, here.

You would have found this thread by simply doing a search in all forums over the past year for "Safari Bookmarks". What you will find out from reading it is that your IE bookmarks are there already. Open up the bookmarks, and you will see a folder entitled Imported...Just select all of them and drag them to the main Bookmark menu.

If you already set-up Safari and would like to import the Bookmarks there is only one way to do so. I have a file availible from my Web Design Business that is called Safari Optimizer at http://www.wildweaselweb.com/macsoftware.asp

When you download this Program, and run it, you are able to Import Bookmarks from iCab, Omniweb, Camino, Netscape, Mozilla, Internet Explorer, or any HTML File. Its a great utility!

Is the v80 for a current beta or one before the 1.0 (i.e. does it work with Safari 1.0) ? A little hesitant to try it.
Otherwise I appreciate the functionality!

Re: Safari-transfer of bookmarks from I.E.
It does work with Safari 1.0. Use the V80 Version if you have the most recent version of Safari. You can find this info by going to "Safari" in the upper left when Safari is open and clicking on "About Safari." It should say Safaril 1.0 (v80) if is the most recent. Otherwise use the other app included in the File.
