OSX program: Keeping Track of Time for billing?

Hey all,

I suck at keeping track of my time for billing purposes. But now that I'm out of school, i figure i should start improving my time management. Is there a OSX app (preferrably free!) that I can can use to help manage my time... ie. perhaps somethign I can click when I start working on a project (and stop). kind of like a stopwatch.

any suggestions would be great,

thanks,

emalen

I can't remember the name, but just the other day I did a search here at Macworld for "organizer" and came up with one. It seems that the billing apps are classified as PIMs, so you might check versiontracker as well. Also...check Apple's OS X apps page.

Oh...and if you have a Palm device, check out Hourz Pro from Zoskware. It's a hefty app, but you can have multiple clients and projects and even run different timers (in case you can double bill).

A couple of the accounting programs have modules for time and billing built in to them. Also there are many specialty sites that sell them to. Check www.maclawyer.com for some attorney time and billing software.
