Can anyone copy files to iDisk in Panther???

I can't copy any files to my iDisk (1gig size) since installing Panther from 10.2.8. I did a wipe of my hd on a Titanium 1ghz with 1gig of ram. I open my iDisk within the Finder window by clicking the iDisk icon. I drag a file either to my public folder or my sites folder. Sometimes it looks like it's copying with a progress bar, going through the whole thing, then within the wither the sites folder or public folder, the file isn't there at all. Or what usually happens is a dialog box comes up and says "You can't copy the file because it's in use" or "File name to long or unrecognized character in the name). It's not in use at all and the name of the file about name was, cat.wmv. This happens with every type of file-Word Document-Stuffed file-Quicktime clip-mp3-wmv. You name it.
I've restarted the computer, tried recopying. Everything. I'm really sick of the Apple quality control lately. In 10.2.8 I copied files everyday to my iDisk. No problems ever. Why in Panther? I've posted to the .Mac support but no one responds at all there.
Thanks for any insight or help.

I've been able to deal with iDisk no problem. Do you have syncing turned on?

iDisk works for me in 10.3 (did clean install). Though uploading is slow as crap. It might have always been that slow, and I just didn't use it that often. I'm using it much more often now than I did in 10.2 (I like the tighter integration into Panther). Also, I have cable internet access, which should be more than adequate while uploading.

Silly question, but do you have a .Mac account? iDisk won't work without it.

Jim, if your cable connection is anything like mine was before I moved out here to the boonies, uploads take just as long as they do on dialup. Only downloads get any speed gain.

While not all cable internet or broadband is created equal (in some areas with some providers uploads are capped at 15KB/s, 25KB/s rather and a speedier 50KB/s) I've never been able to reach out to my idisk faster than about 6KB/s on average.

I have complained about it with .Mac support, but they point to the ISP, distances, busy internet over and over. It doesn't matter if you respond that you get top of the line internet connectivity to test sites over the world at various times. They ignore it.

I'm hoping with more feedback on the speed issues that Apple will finally speed things up.

Actually I was asking the original poster, Mozart11, if s/he has a .Mac account. If not, it would explain his/her problem. The upload reference was based on my own experience.
