Re: AOL Broadband/DSL with AirPort Extreme (no modem)
AOL is the problem. My father has spent many hours trying to help a friend get a wireless network to work with AOL. They never got it to work. Just to make sure, he tested the equipment at his house and it worked fine. AOL tech support was unable to help.
Why do you want AOL anyway? It really no longer offers that much that's no widely available on the internet.

In reply to:<hr />Believe it or not there are many Mac heads that have AOL as an Online Service, but also a true ISP ta-boot. Some of the AOL message boards are good and the Moderators get AOL free. A few I know that use AOL with Airport have what is known as Bring Your Own Access BYOA and its only $9.95, might be $14.95 now. They are actually signing on AOL with their broadband server IP #s.
