recommend sites with mac desktop themes

Anyone know of any good site that offers free mac desktop themes. I'm kind of getting tired of my panther brushed gunmetal theme. Not to mention i want to change my icons.

Re: recommend sites with mac desktop themes
You will first (if you havent already done so) want to download Shapeshifter. This software comes with three or four themes built in. You can select any one of those once you have installed the software. If you want additional themes, go to the MacUpdate Shapeshifter page. There are quite a few additional themes you can download there. As far as desktop pictures are concerned, I believe that Digital Blasphemy has some of the best 3D artwork I have ever seen.

Hope this helps.

The software that I told you about called shapeshifter will completely change your computers appearance. Download it and try it. I have already provided the link above. If you want to change the Icon for a particular application follow these steps. First select the icon that you want to use replace the original icon. Once selected press apple+i to bring up the information box. In the information box, select the thumbnail of the icon and press apple+c to copy it. Then go to the application whose icon you wish to change. Again, press apple+i to bring up the information box. Then select that icons thumbnail in the box and press apple+v to paste your new icon on it.

Re: setting the icon for the drives/partitions
You can find alot of icons at Xicon's site, as mentioned earlier:

http://www.interfacelift.com/category/15/index10.html

Download, do a "Get Info" on the icon's folder, click on the icon preview in the window that pops up, copy it, close; do a get info on the hard drive icon you want to change, click on the preview icon, paste.

Viola!
