I Returned My iPod mini

As I thought I would, I got caught up in the hype of the release of the mini. I bought a silver one from Best Buy. I got it home and took it out of the box, and played with it until today. It is truly an improvement over the 3G iPods. The new scroll wheel works really great. You never have to worry about the touch sensitive buttons turning it on or changing settings. The case is truly an improvement over the current model. No worries about scratching it or smearing it up. Apple has a winner in the new iPod and it will be interesting to see how many of the mini's features go into the 4G iPods.

But I had just bought a new 20GB iPod last month. I had given two 20GB models to family members and needed another. I sat in my home with both my mini and my 20GB in front of me knowing full well I would only use just one of them. I tried to justify the purchase by telling myself I would use the 20GB for an external HD backup with my Powerbook. I ended up returning it today to Best Buy knowing it was an unneeded purchase. Can someone tell me when and where the next Appleholics Anonymous meeting will be held?

I see you are taking my advice. Since they don't have a group wide website up yet and I don't know who sponsors it in your area I can't tell you exactly what day and time it is. Now, all we have to do is get howing to one.

The cure for your addiction is a simple, two-step program but it must be followed to the letter in order to be effective.

1) Make your lust-driven Apple purchases.
2) Send the items to me.

This program is somwhat costly and in all honestly, might take a few years to be effective but eventually, you'll be cured.

Have you seen these yet?

Pretty sure the consensus among all Gods, (including that Jewish fellow), is that Grant is top God by a long "stretch". The rest of us are merely servants in his parish.

Sure, a G5 Powerbook will be fine. I'm here to serve you, my son.

Would you be willing to take a G5 Powerbook? I think that will be my next sin.

<hr />

I'm not an overly greedy God, an iPod or iPod mini shall do just fine.

That's a funny post Peter and I can appreciate your addiction. I picked up a mini and sold my 20 gig instead.

What ever happened to Grant's co-God (Jeff Z)?

Just keep them both. Don't worry about the money, just stay home and eat rice instead of going to dinner

thanks for the reference, MacCheetah!
LOL! I never thought my name would show up here! I should really attend those seminars if there is one. I just landed myself in a pink iPod mini! Won't be having it until some time though, they're not released in Canada anytime soon. Ah well... btw, did I tell you my latest acquisition? I'm typing from a spanking new (3 hours old) 17" 1.25Ghz iMac!

I think, your signature says it all. But that's OK...We all have our flaws...And we're all here to help.

Re: I Returned My iPod mini
HAHA! I've already gave one of them to my sister, and my dad constantly takes my PowerBook to use. I keep the 17" though, that's mine - all mine!!
I just got the iTrip today, after some serious considerations... I had to think if it was worth all the trouble. I figured that the AUX in method was a bit too "intrusive" to my car, so I just left it at wireless!

I want a PowerMac so badly!!!!!
Someone get me a doctor!!!!!!!
