smb networking to a PC without a password

Allright . . . I know this has been covered many times over, but I can't seem to get it to work. I'm trying to access a shared folder on a Windows PC. I use the Go command, with smb://workgroup;name/drive/ or smb://name/drive/

I then get a password window to log in, but it doesn't let me log in with no name or password, even though it is not password protected. Does anyone have any ideas to get this to work?

Thanks!

I get the same password window to log in, but all I have to do is simply to click "OK" and ignore it.

Whether this works depends on the Windows you use though, in case it's Windows 2000 or Windows XP, you have to activate the guest account first (which is deactivated by default) before you can access the windows shares.
