Good Anti-virus?

I have heard varying things about anti-virus programs for the mac. I have heard some say you don't need an anti-virus because it screws up your system. Some say you don't need them because a majority of viruses are for pc. And then some say you should buy one. What are your opinions? And if you think an anti-virus is needed what is a good one? Thanks

Re: Good Anti-virus?
I have Virex, but only because it came free with .Mac. I don't see much need for it. If you're a halfway savvy user and don't download stuff from non-reputable places (ie Limewire), then there isn't really a need for it with a Mac.
