AirPort Extreme Help

This thing is doing the darndest thing. I have an AirPort Extreme Base station (w/o modem and antenna) hooked up to my PowerBook G4 (10.3.4) via the "WAN" port. I then plugged my PC to it's "LAN" port so my PC can have internet connection also and it worked for about a week. But for some reason now the hook up to the "WAN" port does not give my PowerBook a connection, but when I connect it to the "LAN" port it works just fine. However, I can't give my PC an internet connection either. And even further, the station is NOT showing up in the AirPort Admin utility. What the heck is happening here? I didn't change any settings, I just woke up one day to find this has occured.. any help on how to solve this little dilemma would be appreciated =)

Ok the problem kind of worsened. My AirPort Extreme Base Station does not appear at ALL in my Airport Admin Utility...I tried resetting it to its factory settings and run Airport Setup Assistant, but still no luck. It says that it can't find a Base Station and that if DCHP is turned off, I should run AirPort Setup Assistant and turn it on. Obviously I can't do that if it's not detecting it at all. So now I'm just really frustrated.

Let me preface this post by saying I do not have an Airport basestation, however, on all the other wireless routers / basestations I've seen, the WAN (WIDE area network) port must be connected to your DSL/Cable modem.... it's the basestations's connection to the outside world. The LAN (LOCAL area network) is what gets connected to your local computer.

So I believe you want to set it up this way...... (Others feel free to correct me if I'm wrong)
Connect the WAN port to your DSL / Cable modem
Connect the LAN port to your PC
Use the wireless connection to connect the Airport to your Notebook.

Sorry I should be more specific. I can still get a wireless connection with my powerbook. That's not really the problem now. The problem now is that the Base Station itself is not showing up in Aiport Admin Utility and I can't configure it. I used to, but for some odd reason it's not anymore.
