Call of Duty of Battlefield 1942?

Hey,
I've got an iMac 17'' 800MGHz PowerPC G4 with 256 MB of memory, and i was wondering which game to buy, Call of Duty or Battlefield 1942, I bought BF1942 for my PC, but my PC is a POS, its still running a Pentium 1 with 300 mghz, so it doesnt run BF1942, and i've played the COD demo for mac, and its awesome, so, i was just wondering which game is better,
thanks.

both may run kinda slow on your machine, but as far as the games go, i think it depends what you want. COD i think has a good single player, battlefield is known for its multiplayer

A playable demo of Battlefield 1942 isn't available. There are demos of Call of Duty and Medal of Honor Breakthrough, though.
