burning cds

Hi everyone! this is my first post...I'm pretty new to the MAC, IPOD and such. I had an odd thing happen when burning an ITUNES playlist. All the songs were purchased from ITUNES. The playlist was longer then 1 CD, so during the burning process, a second CD was requested, and inserted. When I looked at the disks, on the 1st CD, no song information was present at all, just track numbers. On the 2nd CD all was well. When I tried to have ITUNES look up the songs on the database, it said no information could be found. Now, the odd thing..both CD's play. Ever seen anything like this?

Re: burning cds
iTunes does not burn CD-Text so CD # 1 is normal to just see Track # 1, etc.

What do you mean everything was fine on CD # 2? It showed songs names, etc.? I think this is because iTunes remembers the names from the playlist that you just burned.

When you went to Look up CD Info on the Internet in iTunes it couldn't find a CD with the exact song name and ordering from the playlist that you made so it said No Info could be found.

Hope I understood you correctly and hope I didn't sound too confusing.
