multi-user app?

I have not been able to allow other users to login to the computer and turn QB Pro 5 on. They are told they do not have permission to change the files even when I change permissions. Is it possible? At this point we require the manager (me) to login and stayed logged in all day while others enter transactions. This does not make our system very secure. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

If not, make it a feature request. Support "Fast User Switching."

Re: multi-user app?
pasted from the QuickBooks User Guide:

Important Mac OS X information
If you use QuickBooks on a network, do not allow two users to open the same QuickBooks file at the same time. If two users try to access the same file at the same time, they will get an error.
If a non-administrative user wants to use a company file, the user who owns QuickBooks must give read-write access to the company file and the folder that contains it to the non-administrative user.
