Is there a calendar function for dating checks?

I'm making the (rather unfortunate) transition from Quicken to QuickBooks (Mac). One thing I like and miss is the little popup calendar when writing/dating checks. I always cut my check on a Monday so it was handy to click on the calendar and see the nearest Monday to the date the check was due. Is this function available in QuickBooks and well hidden or is it gone?

What version of Quickbooks are/will you be using?

Currently have Quickbooks Pro 6. Why, do some versions have it and some not?

I just wanted to be sure of what I was going to say pertained to your version. Version Pro 6 and Pro (7) 2005 do not have that option. Sorry
