Didn't Roxio sell Toast (+others) to concentrate on Napster or what?

Re: MWSF: Roxio announces HD support in Toast
So does that mean they are announcing support for the HD-DVD and/or Bluray Hidef capable DVD formats onto which one will be able to burn compatible (720p/1080i) HD content? If it just scales down HD content to 480p anamorphic, that's cool and all, but I wouldn't label that "HD" but "optimized for widescreen TV's" at best which is about the best commercial DVD's can offer until HD-DVD/Bluray hits the streets. In conjunction with the announcement of Elgato's EyeTV 500 though it would appear that the Mac is finally catching up with the PC world when it comes to HD viewing and timeshifting, which is A Good Thing.

As I recall Roxio sold Roxio and the new company took the name Roxio. So the orginal Roxio is now Napster and the orgianal Roxio name was sold along with products.

I'll be honest. You said something and you sound like you know what you are saying.... however... I am sitting here with a dumb look on my face wondering what you said.

Roxio renamed itself Napster Inc. Roxio sold its consumer products -- outside of Napster -- to Sonic Solutions, which now owns the Roxio brand. Roxio, the company that makes Toast, is continuing to produce Mac software, now as a Sonic subsidiary.
