Going rate for iBook G3?

Im toying with selling my iBook G3/900MHZ/384MB/40GB HD/CD-RW/Airport installed with Panther, and Adobe Acrobat installed.

Am I crazy to be thinking that I would get atleast 600 for it? I've looked on ebay but I can't find a model that is exactly like mine. Some have more memory, some have more software, blah, blah.

Isn't that what Ebay is for?

If you want to know the going rate for your iBook G3, put it on Ebay and see what the market will bid.
You never know unless you audition it off.

If you got some electronic skill, I heard that there is a manual on the net that will guide you in upgrading your old iBook with a new G4 chip.

I wouldn't suggest "audition"-ing it off but seriously, if you post your laptop for 600 smackers on eBay, it will sell very fast. Here's my suggestion: Post it on eBay for a Buy it Now price of $725, a starting bid of $600, charge $18 for FedEx shipping (it won't be more than that, I know from experience), and offer free FedEx shipping if the buyer uses the Buy it Now option.

As long as it is great shape, the iBook will sell rather quickly. Take it or leave it, that's my advice.
