Apple Pages

Apple claims that most formats are supported for Pages, but does anybody know if it supports
Microsoft Publisher?

Re: Apple Pages
I don't think anything supports Microsoft Publisher. Once upon a time Pagemaker had a conversion utility that you could use for some versions of MS Publisher, but it was very poor and didn't convert properly in many situations.

Many believe that Pages is being released as a direct competitor to MS Publisher, so most likely it will not convert those files. I hear you though, I love MS Publisher, and it (and Roller coaster Tycoon) are the only reason I use my PC anymore in addition to my Mac. I plan to purchase Pages this weekend, so I can post once installed, but I am relativelt certain Publisher files will not be supported.

Re: Apple Pages
I will install pages soon. I'll see if Publisher files can be converted.

Re: Apple Pages
I installed and have been running Pages for two days now...I love it, but NO it does not convert MS Publisher files, as expected. It will, however, now be my "quick page layout" program when I don't feel like spending hours with InDesign.
