itunes help! will not open

i was wondering if anyone else was having trouble opening their itunes 4.7.1
it was working fine and now whenever i try to open the application: it says that there is not enough memory. i have checked the system monitor and i have enough ram (512mb) in my G4 ibook. I have 17gb free on my hd. has anyone encountered this problem? can anyone help? thanks!

I have a similar problem. When I have my ipod mini in its cradle, it will not open, I just get a unexpected error message. iTunes works fine when the iPod mini is not in the cradle.
