Cap'n Magneto resurrected for modern Macs

The words Cap'n Magneto will take Mac gamers back -- way back, to the days of 9-inch black and white screens. Al Evans has resurrected this long-dormant graphical adventure game for modern systems -- you can now download it and give it a whirl. more

I'll wait for the diamond edition! (Carbonized.)

"Modern" is relative. A machine running OS 9 isn't what I'd call "modern," but I suppose compared to a black-and-white Mac, sure, it's modern.

Re: Cap'n Magneto resurrected for modern Macs
The point is, any off-the-shelf Mac can run Cap'n Magneto now -- all Macs come with Classic included. Before now, if you wanted to play Cap'n Magneto, you needed to find an emulator that would mimic the operating characteristics of first-generation Macs.

Re: Cap'n Magneto resurrected for modern Macs
Point taken Peter, however....

1. There are alot of reallly great, better, games out there for this price (some even free)
2. They are osx native.

I think I would pay $5 for something of this magnitude. I am not trying to upset the developers, however, I am willing to pay more for something of higher complexity than a distant memory

I complement the developers for bringing this back from the dead though.

I'll wait for the Carbonized version. Although I have classic installed on my new 15" PBG4, I refuse to allow it to be polluted with non-OSX software.
