Setting up airport express with wired mac & pc

I am interested in purchasing airport express and wanted to run my intended set-up by the experts here to ensure I have made no planning errors. I have an iBook and a desktop pc, both of which are currently connected to a Linksys 4-port wired router. All of my music is stored on the iBook, and it is my primary machine for all intensive purposes. I would like to play music wirelessly through iBook/airport express/airtunes combination while maintaining an active wired internet connection on both units. So this brings me to my question... I just need to purchase airport express and plug it into one of the remaining ports of my router, right? And then run optical cable or rca cord to stereo receiver, right? FYI...My desktop does not have wireless capabilities and I would like to hold off purchasing the airport extreme card until I have more disposable funds.
Thanks for help.

Re: Setting up airport express with wired mac & pc
Should work just fine.

My setup is Cable modem -> Linksys RT31P2 router (has two phone ports for Vonage) -> Airport Express.

I simply plugged the Airport Express into the Linksys router and it instantly recognized everything. Made the setup very quick and easy. Then I connected the Airport Express to my stereo.

I'm rather impressed that even at great distances from the Airport Express, AirTunes works flawlessly.
