I have two opposed requirements - 1) accounting, using QB on a PC and 2) desktop publishing, using a mac.

Presently, I have two seperate cpus to do the separate functions. I want to move everything to the mac with the ability to backup QB records on a networked PC.

I have read what has been posted regarding Virtual PC and QBs. The accounting we do is very simple but I need to be able to email invoices from QBs. I also need to operate in the multi-use environment (back-up, etc).

Is it better to keep a laptop for QB or can I combine the two on the mac using VP?
