Help! Programs Not Running after last software upd

Help anyone!

After the last Mac software update both my emac and my ibook refuse to open software. It does not matter what (itunes, word, adobe reader) this is crazy. Does anyone have any clues on this?

Did you fix the special file permissions with disk utility?

  • open Applications/ Utilites/ Disk Utility
    - click on your hdd icon in the left pane
    - on the first aid tab there are two button 'check permissions' and 'fix mermissions'
