It is slow but it does run ok. Even with 1 gig of ram it is no faster that a G4. The Intel optimized apps run much faster.

An assumption at this point... but we shall see how much faster when Office-Intel for Mac OSX actually comes out but I wouldn't try to extrapolate anything from 3-4x faster hoopla.

I am also not certain that if they do indeed run as fast or free of hiccups as they do on G4s... I am almost certain that my 1.25 GHz G4-DP seems quicker and very stable in comparison to my 2GHz MacBook.
