Can I use 2 iPods on 1 Mac??

I will most likely be getting a second iPod, because of the huge discount, is it possible to use two different iPods with two different set of material to sync into it???

I most likely will be using the 60GB video for all videos, and use my old photo 30GB for music even though I've got more than the 30Gigs of music.

Has anybody tried having two different sets of iPods with different info going on each and how is it done?

Thanks

Yes you can. The sync settings are stored on the iPod so you're welcome to create different settings for each. When you plug in each iPod, it will sync the way you've directed.

In addition to the information provided by Chris in previous post, you can also set preference of iTune to skip automatic sunchronization and do it manually instead... this is useful when you have various music/vid/photo files residing on multiple machines and not just multiple iPods.

What about using the iPod as an external hard drive, is this possible?

Yes and it is as easy as connecting the iPod to your machine and using it just like any other external drive.
