Re: Photoshop - before and after
Philbert,

I'll chime in.
Same as the others, it still looks good.

The horizon is supposed to be level. Your photo (portraying) it's taken from a cliff, so your looking out and over. Without looking to hard, the only thing I can look at is the ocean view from the rear left wheel, compared to the ocean on the right front wheel. I think I would have matched the front with the rear, but still leaving the waves/ripple affect fading (not to horizon) of the ocean. Again looking out from a cliff.

Peter

Re: Photoshop - before and after
OK Phil.... now that I have looked at it a few times. your first chopped pic.that is.

my humble opinion. so please forgive.
while your clouds are excellent.. I can't put them in context with your buddy and his car.
looking out over the water, there are lots of diffuse clouds.
yet no shadows or diffuse shadows on him and the car.
my thought is you should have fewer clouds out judging by the light on your principle subjects.
like 30% of what's there.
lose the diffuse clouds and keep the solid ones with a slight blurring on the bottoms of any close to the water.

our water is a "bit" darker here, but the wet horizon looks fine.

just a thought.

Re: Photoshop - before and after
Nice car and very convincing work. Well done. Although I must also say that I like the original photo better. The overall look of the new version does not seem to be quite right somehow - the sky seems to dominant and over-bearing I think.
