OK to trash 'old' ipod updater?

Since iTunes 7 now handles iPod software updating automatically, I'd like to get rid of the rather hefty (68MB) Updater only I'm afraid iTuned may still be referencing it for updates.

Wuddya think? Is it safe?

Hi
I always deleted the old one and as you pointed out, it is all integrated into iTunes now, even for Windows. So, you can delete the iPod Updater folder and all the contents within.
