Remember, folks, the Game Room is alive and well online, and you'l continue to see reviews featured in the magazine, as well as the annual Game Hall of Fame.

100th issue
When my 100th issue arrived in the mail, wrapped in plastic, I decided NOT to open it and save it as a collector's item. Afterall that's what it said on the cover. Now that the name is changing it just became more interesting. Who knows what it will be worth in 20 years. I also have most of the cds.

Mac Lives Culture
MacAddict/Future US may want to consider catering to more of an international audience along the lines of MacDirectory magazine. Exploring the lives of creative people using Macs to develop their visions. Interviewing the likes of Gene Munster about how investors should value the parts of Apple and what is a reasonable premium with and without Steve Jobs. Meet with Apple Directors, Al Gore and others, to explore their aims and what other business interests may affect judgements regarding Apple. How could Jobs minimalist style transfer to an Appleesque design for office, home and ergonomics. Imagine the expanded advertising pool willing to influence and fulfill the MacAddiction and the resulting ad revenues generated to bring more pages to us every month. As MacAddict has aged so has its base and with age prospered financially; bringing along their youthful exuberance with an ability to fulfill desires beyond their means a decade ago. Isn't that what we MacAddict readers really want, more and better with fun?

Re: MacAddict to rebrand as Mac|Life
I listen to You Mac Life every week and I subscribe to MacWorld Magazine. I have not picked up a Mac Addict issue in 5 years but what I remember about Mac Addict was it had an anti-establishment/clandestine tone with articles that encouraged readers to void their iMac warranty by trying some hardware hacks on the motherboard or encouraged readers to invest hundreds of dollars in processor and graphics card upgrades for an aging Mac that had too slow a system bus to make the upgrades cost effective.

These editorial attitudes are so opposite of the strait-forward approach to technology on the Your Mac Life Broadcast.

Your Mac Life has a close relationship with MacWorld Magazine so it could seem disparaging to confuse Your Mac Life and Mac/Life Magazine as under the same umbrella.

No closer than its relationship with MacAddict, whose editors have been featured many times on YML over the years (and no, I've never taken a dime, nor have I ever asked for one, for my weekly stints on YML/The Mac Show). The issue here is trademark infringement, not who's working with whom.
