Here's hoping they bring the criminal element expansion pack as well some day - thanks Aspyr!

Re: Star Wars: Empire at War is Mac-bound
I wouldn't expect anyone to deliver a story in a RTS game like Blizzard does. I have EaW on PC and it's fun, but the goods are in the action. It also has a decent strategy section that you play between battles. So if you want to compare it, you should compare it to Rome: Total War (or any of the Total War games).

Warcraft 3 is a story, with interactive battles. EaW is an interactive strategy game with interactive battles. It's fun though. The strategy part is interesting, and it's even in some sort of quasi-real time, so you can't just sit there. I liked how i was able to build gigantic fleets, but at the same time, felt it was a bit unrealistic that I was able to do so, as Alliance.

Basically, none of the scenarios in any of the (original) movies would really work here. Small fleet versus big fleet = small fleet loses. Unless the small fleet is a star destroyer versus 10 x-wings. That would be close.

Thirty rebel ships versus a death star? Eh. Maybe. I think the game would auto-launch more Tie's than they ever did in the movie, so I think those ships would get cut up pretty fast. Add one star destroyer to the mix, and the rebels would be toast.
