Macworld: Programs closing unexpectidly... ...

Programs closing unexpectidly...

This is happening with everything now... Macbook bought in July. It works great but now it is all buggy. What do I do?

Create a new account. Work in the new account for a while. Does everything still quit?

A new Macbook account? I'll give it a shot. I have so much on this accoutn though. :/

I suspect it's something in your account that's causing the troubles. So create a new account, login as it, and just try running some apps for a while -- don't worry about setting up preferences, etc. If "everything" is really quitting all the time, then the problem should occur again quickly on the new account. But I'm guessing all will be fine.

What login items are on your main account? And what third party preference panes?

Alright, I did that. Nothing closed, so I came back into this one and things are good so far.

It was these programs:

iTunes, Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Messenger, and iPhoto. They all work now though... Weird.
